One of the things I’ve had to learn (the hard way, naturally) to do with my CFS is to look after myself. I can’t do too much physically, or I’ll have a relapse. I can’t take on too much stress, or I’ll buckle and end up sitting on the kitchen floor crying like I just rewatched Children of Earth. That’s why you’ll never see me doing a column like Does My Mortgage Look Like a Slag in This? or Are We There Yet? two weeks in a row. I recognise that it takes a lot of emotional strength out of me, so I mind how many arguments I’m simultaneously engaging in...

You may have seen Cactus Kate's self-proclaimed "humdinger of a story" claiming that APN has issued new "guidelines from Sydney" to its editors, which are "all to do with NO budget allocated for legal action or defence so the editors have basically been told not to run stories that could cause legal action or are risky in other ways."...

It must have been the early 80s, or late 70s. Ian Fraser (I think) was working up quite a sweat, and so was my family, with Felix Donnelly explaining why he thought New Zealand men should spend more time talking about masturbation with their sons. My mother, father, two brothers and I sat there like stunned mullets. Tricky situation. Can't leave. Don't wanna stay. Check the room. Nobody flinched. Just watch and listen...

That's going to be too hard. I'll have to figure something else to do about the spamming.
Sorry if my increasing security cuts some of you guys off.
This has become a work in progress.

Taken from a video I shot of myself recording. HEAVILY cut. Freakily difficult, the song. Can't play it once as whole without mistakes. Oh well, only ever started practising an hour ago or so.

"Thanks for such an excellent session of modeling. You really inspired people to get into it....and sparked their creativity..."

I'm working on the problem. I'll have to see if I can try approving comments. I don't know what the workload will be if I do. But maybe I can enlist someone to help me with it.

We'll see.

Oh I found one more kickball picture.

It's Monday, so that means I would usually be talking American football and uniforms. But I've been really busy today so I'm only going to be able to give you a quick run down of the rugby… yes, I'm kidding...

They laugh now, but within 10 years the city's entire criminal class will have quit to work on space research.

Shane thinks I look "sad" as in "unhappy" on the latest photos on Facebook that I was tagged on.

Strange. Because I was actually happy, had a great day! I was sunburnt though and it was pitchblack except for the constant bright flashes of the camera!

I still have the June 11 texts on my phone. The first was blunt and alarming: "Chris Knox has had a stroke," and then later, " … prognosis not good". What has happened since has been a story of trauma and love and friendship and, now, a remarkable recording project...

Not all 'World Firsts' are as impressive as they sound. I like to think of them as falling into two distinct 'kinds'. There's the important 'first kind', such as: First Man on the Moon (Neil Armstrong), First Trans-Atlantic Wireless Message (Guglielmo Marconi), and First Computer Programmer (Ada Lovelace)...

It came down to two teams that were undefeated and I think I left before their game ended.

We had our second annual Kickball tournament with the crew.
It was a big event with about eight teams representing different departments.
Ken, Nestor and me were recruited by the Hair/Makeup/Wardrobe team.

We got our butts kicked.

Really bad.
