The real estate industry is blaming the media for the housing 'slump'. Good to know we're doing something right, huh? Even if the stats saying the average family can no longer afford the average mortgage are while technically true, mean absolutely nothing. Yes, we now have "trendy" (tradesman's words, not mine) new blinds, which make our little flat look more "modern". After watching the 'indie' episode of Seven Ages of Rock last night, I blasted Definitely Maybe and Parklife this morning, I forgot how awesome those albums are. They're always popping up in best-album-ever lists, of course, but if you don't listen to something in a while, you can forget why.
